Another member recently restored a particularly large & handsome family bible which had become \u2018disbound\u2019.<\/p>\n

The renovation was complicated by the fact that one of the hinges of the holding clasps had become detached & lost, together with its bracket.\u00a0 Finding someone to engineer new brass pieces & reassemble it all was a challenge, but eventually a local expert was able to laser-cut the design & fit back together to complete a very comprehensive job.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
