From time to time we run Saturday Workshops.

Many of our members first became interest in bookbinding, by attending an introductory Saturday Workshop — usually running from 10 am to 4 pm. Workshops allow the participant to carry out a project from start to finish, so it is a very efficient way to see what bookbinding involves.

Some workshops are designed for the beginner and some are provided to teach a more specialist topic, including how to make different sorts of bindings or work with different sorts of materials.

Currently we are planning a workshop on making slip cases and drop-back boxes for March 2022.
