... Another Family Bible

Another member recently restored a particularly large & handsome family bible which had become ‘disbound’.

The renovation was complicated by the fact that one of the hinges of the holding clasps had become detached & lost, together with its bracket.  Finding someone to engineer new brass pieces & reassemble it all was a challenge, but eventually a local expert was able to laser-cut the design & fit back together to complete a very comprehensive job.
